Unlike other leading solutions, UV Backups does not require you to install software on each machine you want to protect. The one server that runs the UV Backups agent sends the data from your whole network to the secure off-site data vault. We make it that easy.
Local Restores for Speedy Recovery
If requested, the most recent copy of data being sent to the off-site vault can also be stored on your local network. In the event of a disaster, you can restore your latest data quickly at full LAN speeds, decreasing the time required for a complete restore by up to 950%.
Redundant, Reliable Offsite Data Vaults
UV Backups utilizes some of the most secure, reliable and high-capacity Internet backbones in the industry, consisting of bi-directional OC-12 & OC-192 rings that extend throughout Canada and the United States. Every part of the network has a redundant "stand-in" that instantly becomes operational in the event of a hardware failure.
Encrypted and Completely Secure
The UV Backups agent encrypts all of your data using up to 256 AES encryption locally before it transmits it to the offsite data vault. Since you will be the only one with the key, this means that even if your data is intercepted during transmission, it would be useless to the recipient. And, it means that data stored on the vault is stored in an encrypted state, making it impossible for anyone but you to know what it is.
